Designed for use in small businesses and residences, the PowerTower for Backup automatically and instantly provides power in the event of a blackout with enough energy to last for more than 95% of all power outages.
PowerTower for Alternative Power Sources enables a wide range of renewable power sources including solar panels, fuel cells, and wind turbines and outputs clean, conditioned and uninterrupted AC power, regardless of source quality.
Gaia's PowerTower has been designed to be extremely flexible and modular. This approach allows us to address a nearly infinite number of configurations, engineered to fit any and all specific requirements.
PowerTower for Backup
The PowerTower for Backup is Gaia's most standard unit, and it provides the reliability, ease of installation and affordability that makes it the best solution in backup power protection.
The unit can be sized to provide from 2.5kW to 16.5kW of continuous power with as much energy storage as needed in order to power circuits through any power event. Larger systems for larger businesses are also available.
All Backup units arrive ready to accept the grid as well as any future alternative power sources such as solar cells, and all Backup units accept power input from generators of any size, making it easy to charge the batteries for outages of several days or more.
The PowerTower for Backup is compatible with a wide range of electrical service, from 60A to 300A+ and can be configured for either 120V or 240V output.
Three-phase power models are also available.
PowerTower for Alternative Power Sources
(APS)
As primary and supplementary power alternatives to the electric grid proliferate, Gaia's PowerTower for
Alternative Power Sources provides automatic backup power and power quality enhancement to
generators and renewable energy sources such as solar cells, fuel
cells and wind turbines.
The unit comes with all balance-of-system components and can be installed by any licensed electrician. Two DC and one AC power inputs are standard, and the control module automatically reconciles and synchronizes power to deliver it to the needed circuits.
The unit can be delivered partially or fully assembled and all components are fully tested in all configurations.
Measurement and monitoring capability is also standard on all APS units, and the units can be monitored and controlled individually or in aggregate.
